Jitterbug Solutions is a family project that was inspired by and created for the special education community, by people who care, to provide solutions that work.
Our mission is to create unique products that solve specific sensory needs, improve fine motor skills, and assist with coping mechanisms.

Hi there, Mr. Jeff here! Special Education teacher and one of the inventors of the Fidget Glove by Jitterbug Solutions.

I developed the idea for this product after seeing how much it would benefit my students during instructional learning times within my classroom.

I often saw challenges in my classroom, and I asked myself, how can I make this better for my students? With that, I started drawing up the idea of the fidget glove as a response to some of my classroom’s unique needs.

As that developed, I shared it with my wife and her parents, and this quickly became a family project. My wife, Erica, who is also an educator, helped develop some of the features of the glove, and over the next couple of years we had a product that we are passionate about sharing with you!

The Fidget Glove by Jitterbug Solutions has many different features that provide stimulation, functional stimming opportunities, sensory input, and therapeutic benefits! Some of the key components include:
Soft, faux fur material that is fun to touch and provides a unique sensory experience.
A snap device between the thumb and the index finger that not only provides a satiating fidget opportunity, but also helps build dexterity and strength for those with fine motor needs.
A zipper that can be used as a fidget opportunity and also carry small personal items within the pocket.
Opposing magnets are placed between the index and middle finger that served as a sensory input opportunity. The magnet also helps keep the two fingers together during handwriting for those who may have trouble with this.

Social and emotional regulation is a very important step in a child’s development. Learning to self-regulate can support individuals in many ways, such as building relationships, focusing, skill acquisition, and coping with stress.
These five areas encompass social emotional learning. When children learn about and understand each of these areas, it will help them be independent in managing their behavior, relationships, and emotions.
